Revisión de casos con trastornos psiquiátricos - psicológicos en la institución policial

Abstract

Durante la función desempeñada en la Dirección General de Medicina Legal Provincial (DGMLP), se ha observado el incremento de carpetas médicas con su consiguiente repercusión en el ámbito laboral e institucional, especialmente en numerarios recientemente incorporado a la institución y corresponden a diferentes variables: • Patología psicológica preexistente al ingreso • Trastornos de ansiedad ante el desarrollo de una función determinada • Pseudo-patología por incorporación del personal con destinos lejanos al domicilio real del mismo. Como se manifiesta up supra se ha llevado a cabo un estudio observacional de los distintos tipos de patologías A (clínica), B (traumatológica) y C (psicológica - psiquiátrica) desde febrero de 2017 hasta febrero de 2018. Por lo cual consideramos necesario modificar la forma actual de realizar el ingreso a la institución policial. Estas modificaciones se basan fundamentalmente en la selección y ejecución de los siguientes aspectos • Definición de un perfil psicológico del policía ingresante • Evaluación ambiental y de domicilio físico real del aspirante • Cambios radicales en evaluación psico–física del aspirante especialmente por los test psicológicos a aplicar, priorizando la entrevista personal • Organización de un sistema de control fundamentalmente psicológico, reglamentado durante el cursado del aspirante y una evaluación final completa por un gabinete integrado por psicólogos y psiquiatras al final del curso de capacitación establecido (3 años). En este trabajo se considerará cuáles son las modificaciones que se deberían llevar a cabo en el ingreso de los aspirantes a la institución policial, argumentando cada una ellas.

Throughout the function performed in the General Directorate of Provincial Legal Medicine (DGMLP), the increase in medical folders has been observed with their consequent repercussion in the labor and institutional sphere, especially in numeraries recently incorporated into the institution and correspond to different variables: • Pre-existing psychological pathology upon admission • Anxiety disorders in the development of a certain function • Pseudo-pathology due to the incorporation of personnel with faraway destinations to their real address. As stated above, an observational study of the different types of pathologies A (clinical pathology), B (trauma pathology) and C (psychological - psychiatric pathology) has been carried out from February 2017 to February 2018. Therefore, We consider it necessary to modify the current way of entering the police institution. These modifications are based primarily on the selection and execution of the following aspects • Definition of a psychological profile of the incoming police • Real environmental and physical address evaluation of the applicant • Radical changes in the psycho-physical evaluation of the applicant, especially for the psychological tests to be applied, prioritizing the personal interview • Organization of a fundamentally psychological control system regulated during the course of the applicant and a complete final evaluation by a cabinet composed of psychologists and psychiatrists at the end of the established training course (total period 3 years) Throughout this work, the modifications that should be carried out to the applicants to enter the police institution will be considered, arguing each of the modifications mentioned above.
