En Argentina, la autopsia médico-legal se realiza a toda muerte violenta o sospechosa de criminalidad, aun cuando de la inspección exterior resultare evidente la causa de la muerte el nuevo código procesal penal de Tucumán, y en su art. 217, menciona dos circunstancias autorizan la realización de una autopsia: a) la muerte violenta b) o sospechosas de criminalidad. Este trabajo tuvo como objetivo determinar las causas de muerte violenta y naturales en base a las autopsias realizadas en la Morgue Judicial de San Miguel de Tucumán entre los años 2019 y 2021, para su caracterización y analizar su dinámica temporal.
In Argentina, the medico-legal autopsy is performed to any violent death or suspected criminality, even when the cause of death is evident from the external inspection, the new criminal procedure code of Tucumán, in its art. 217, mentions two circumstances that authorize the performance of an autopsy: a) violent death b) or suspected criminality. This work aimed to determine the causes of violent and natural death based on the autopsies performed in the Judicial Morgue of San Miguel de Tucumán between the years 2019 and 2021, for their characterization and to analyze their temporal dynamics.
