El proyecto de investigación que se propone asume como objeto de estudio a la Inteligencia Artificial, en tanto tutor que potencia las habilidades humanas, prestando particular atención al papel de asistencia que puede desempeñar para mejorar la construcción de las decisiones. Se busca poner el foco en las formas en que las personas y las máquinas pueden trabajar juntas, evitando un planteo basado en el reemplazo de uno por el otro, y viceversa. El campo de la Inteligencia Artificial en la arquitectura se encuentra aún en sus primeras etapas de desarrollo, por lo que existen diversos desafíos que esta propuesta pretende abordar, particularmente en lo que refiere al vínculo entre las personas y las innovaciones tecnológicas. Reconociendo la relevancia de la experiencia y la creatividad de los arquitectos, se busca complementar la Inteligencia Artificial con la noción de Augmented Intelligence, entendida como complemento cognitivo, contribuyendo en su continua evolución. El propósito principal de posicionarse de manera holística en el diseño, incorporando la Augmented Intelligence a la Inteligencia Artificial, busca reconocer la dinámica existente entre los seres humanos y el contexto multidisciplinar mayormente digital en el que la arquitectura opera, para brindar soluciones a las demandas de la sociedad. El objetivo de esta transformación es ofrecer una alternativa a la frecuente generación de compartimientos estancos entre las distintas disciplinas vinculadas al proyecto. Es así que se plantea un modelo que asume la participación activa de personas e instrumentos, así como los beneficios recíprocos que existen entre los actores y las innovaciones sociales y tecnológicas que se constituyen en creadores/operadores de la realidad que observan/experimentan. Su implementación tanto en la educación como en la práctica profesional de la arquitectura, tiene el potencial de transformar los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje, de fomentar la innovación y, en consecuencia, preparar a los estudiantes para las demandas de un ejercicio dinámico y en constante transformación dentro del ecosistema digital contemporáneo. La reflexión disciplinar que se propone en este proyecto al vincular a la Inteligencia Artificial con la Augmented Intelligence busca sugerir lineamientos que posibiliten una revisión crítica del estado de arte contemporáneo en relación al aporte de metodologías del siglo XX para hacerle frente a problemas del siglo XXI.
The research project assumes Artificial Intelligence as its object of study, as a tutor that enhances human abilities, paying particular attention to the assistance role it can play to improve the construction of decisions. The aim is to focus on the ways in which people and machines can work together, avoiding an approach based on replacing one with the other, and vice versa. The field of Artificial Intelligence in architecture is still in its early stages of development, so there are various challenges that this proposal aims to address, particularly regarding the link between people and technological innovations. Recognizing the relevance of the experience and creativity of architects, we seek to complement Artificial Intelligence with the notion of Augmented Intelligence, understood as a cognitive complement, contributing to its continuous evolution. The main purpose of positioning itself holistically in design, incorporating Augmented Intelligence to Artificial Intelligence, seeks to recognize the existing dynamics between human beings and the largely digital multidisciplinary context in which architecture operates, to provide solutions to the demands of the society. The objective of this transformation is to offer an alternative to the frequent generation of watertight compartments between the different disciplines linked to the project. Thus, a model is proposed that assumes the active participation of people and instruments, as well as the reciprocal benefits that exist between the actors and the social and technological innovations that constitute creators/operators of the reality that they observe/experience. Its implementation, both in education and in the professional practice of architecture, has the potential to transform the teaching and learning processes, to encourage innovation and, consequently, to prepare students for the demands of a dynamic and constant practice. transformation within the contemporary digital ecosystem.
