Costo del capital y competitividad en Argentina

Abstract

El objetivo del proyecto es analizar el costo de capital en Argentina y su impacto en la competitividad, es decir en la posición relativa de la empresa en el mercado. Teniendo presente el Costo promedio ponderado del Capital (CPCC) como principal expresión de aquel, se persigue analizar los principales tipos de financiamiento de la empresa (deuda y capital accionario), los rendimientos requeridos, la estructura óptima de financiamiento y el rol que tienen los mercados financieros en general conducentes a la minimización del mismo, o de manera equivalente, a la maximización del valor de la empresa y sus proyectos.

The goal of the project is to analyze the cost of capital in Argentina and the impact on competitiveness, that is to say, the relative position of the company in the market. Considering the weighted average cost of capital as the main expression, the main sources of the companies’ funding will be analyzed (debt and equity), as well as the required returns, the optimal capital structure and the role that financial markets play to reduce the WACC, or equivalently, to maximize the value of the company and investment projects.
