Nos proponemos investigar alteridades corporales presupuestas en diferentes modos de entender la salud y la enfermedad, teniendo como propósito primordial la indagación y el análisis de diversos paradigmas de la historia del cuerpo en la cultura occidental y la valoración crítica de las implicancias éticas de las prácticas en salud sustentadas en diversos modos de comprender al ser humano sano o enfermo. Dichas concepciones posibilitan y condicionan prácticas y saberes orientados a conocer, transformar y manipular la vida humana. Sostiene Le Bretón (1995) que muchas cuestiones éticas, están relacionadas con el estatuto que se le otorga al cuerpo en la definición social de persona, poniendo de manifiesto, la necesidad de explicitar las concepciones corporales que sustentan las prácticas de salud. Los diversos modelos de relación clínica, los modos de nombrar al sujeto de la intervención profesional, los distintos abordajes terapéuticos, los enfoques para prevenir la enfermedad, la asignación de los recursos y los modos de gestión de las instituciones de salud, entre otros, son deudores de los modos de concebir al hombre, la salud y la enfermedad. Estas concepciones también están presentes en la investigación científica, determinando abordajes metodológicos, criterios para la priorización de líneas de investigación, desarrollo de tecnologías que permiten la intervención sobre los cuerpos para la prevención, diagnóstico, tratamiento de la enfermedad, promoción de la salud o mejoramiento humano. Consideramos que la complejidad del tema propuesto sólo es abordable desde una lectura interdisciplinaria que nos permita poner en diálogo aportes de las ciencias biológicas, humanas y sociales. Cuerpo, salud, enfermedad son conceptos configurados en la intersección entre diversos saberes entre los que se destacan para nuestro proyecto, la Antropología. la Filosofía y la Bioética. Estos saberes en diálogo con las diversas ciencias y profesiones a estudiar darán el sustento teórico a la investigación en la que indagaremos reflexivamente las concepciones corporales que tienen los y las estudiantes de las Licenciaturas en Nutrición y Biotecnología en diferentes momentos del proceso de formación de grado, realizando un análisis comparativo e identificando las concepciones predominantes, considerando los abordajes biomédicos respecto a la corporalidad, la salud y la enfermedad como así también otros modelos.
In this project we propose to investigate bodily alterities presupposed in different ways of understanding health and disease, having as a primary purpose the investigation and analysis of different paradigms of the history of the body in our western culture and the critical assessment of the ethical implications of health practices based on different ways of understanding the healthy or sick human being. The body conceptions of students of the Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology of the FBCB-UNL at different stages of their undergraduate training will be investigated. A comparative analysis will be carried out to identify the predominant conceptions, considering biomedical approaches and other models that may be present. In addition, an analysis will be made of how these conceptions affect the students' professional training practices, both in the clinical setting and in human health research, identifying ethical issues and problems that arise in these practices. From the methodological point of view, an exploratory and ethnographic research of a qualitative and quantitative nature is proposed. In the first instance, face-to-face and written surveys will be carried out, aimed at obtaining relevant quantitative data for the development of the project, which in turn will serve as a basis for the selection of research subjects to be summoned for focus groups and interviews. The interviews will be recorded for later analysis and in the focus group technique a written record will be taken, which may also be recorded. Complementarily, it will have a theoretical component, from which the work team intends to deepen the knowledge on the subject of the project, from an interdisciplinary perspective that allows an integral understanding of the fundamental aspects of the subject, the joint construction of new knowledge, the reflection on how these paradigms and conceptions go through the educational practices and professional training of the current students of the Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology. As for the benefit, the research intends to be a contribution to the training of students to know and reflect on the incidence that the conceptions of body, health and disease have in clinical and research practices, constituting a contribution to professional training. It will also contribute to think institutionally about undergraduate training, and to the generation of knowledge on this little explored subject.
